Accounting & Payroll Administrator - Program Length - 44 Weeks

Program Summary

The Accounting and Payroll Administrator students will be introduced to a variety of computer programs that will provide them with the skills needed to develop, maintain and balance various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
They will also receive training in tax returns, preparing statistical, financial, accounting reports and completing and submission of a number of government forms.
Upon successful completion of the program each student will obtain the skills needed to be an effective member of the accounting team.

Employment Opportunities

Graduates of the program will have the opportunity to be employed in a variety of work environments. Some positions students will be qualified for are accounting bookkeeper/ clerk, bookkeeper, bookkeeper accountant and bookkeeper clerk.

Prerequisites

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma, General Education Diploma or Mature Student Status
